"The Telephone Call" (German: Der Telefon Anruf) is a song by Kraftwerk and is the fourth song on the album Electric Café. It was later released as a single in 1987. It was remixed into a much shorter, 3 minute composition and paired with another remix, "House Phone".
The single mix was later included on the 2009 remaster of Electric Café.
The music video features each member of the band answering a telephone (Ralf Hütter's being a combination of a telephone and a synthesiser). While there are sung lyrics, none of the band members shown in the video are seen singing.
